i sized up for these, and it was the right thing to do. these fit like aikos to me. the center of gravity is at the cargo pockets so they inch down even tho the calves really are quite baggy. i felt like i was going to hate wearing these so i am returning them. they look good on, and the fabric is very soft and pretty, but they feel bad because of the fit. the charcoal is much less blue than in the photo. there are big magnets on the pockets which seems dumb. i would perhaps have kept them had i gotten them on sale...also, they felt too small even tho they obviously were not, so, again, the fit...for me, these were those silver jeans you take the tags off of and immediately regret it. these cargo pants are constantly sold out, but there are very few reviews of them—that should have told me not to buy them. i am weary of always having to guess at internet sizing and fit...and then they end up stretching out.

Awesome Fit
The first pair of cargo jeans that fit my athletic body type. Had to size down to get the waist to fit. The most comfortable pair of jeans I have, not too tight in the thigh or calf. They look great dressed up or down. They stretch a bit with wear, so if in doubt size down. I am 5'6, 140lbs and got size 28.
